I am not very active, and up to 92 during the weeks when I am very present. Not a week goes by without me going to the ad hoc platform for training or a webinar but other than that, it's not an indicator that I'm following. Do I perform better on LinkedIn based on my SSI score? Clearly not. This summer, I published a post that reached over 250,000 views while my SSI was at 79. At the end of September, I had 3,000 views with an SSI at 92. I will come back to this later in this article but the number of views are not criteria that I follow closely either. LinkedIn SSI is getting ugly Yes, obviously, without any problem.
Any automation tool will be able to increase the SSI: automatic Email Data endorsements, falsified engagement with automatic pods, automatic likes, automatic invitations, etc. When you know that around ΒΌ of invitations are accepted without any message, it's not difficult to increase your score. Why do I say that SSI is useless? No provocation, no putaclic. As indicated previously, it is a score which indicates a level of activity, in particular in relation to its network or those in its sector, but on the one hand a high SSI does not guarantee anything and does not bring anything (except is a satisfaction of the ego) and on the other hand a low SSI does not absolutely prevent you from having results.
Those who prospect directly via the provision of value based on unpublished content will be able to have very good results without having published anything on LinkedIn. In a current mission, Leslie generates qualified leads (for telephone meetings) for her company every week. It has only been active for a few weeks. She has just over 200 contacts. She only published one post which generated 12 likes and 2 comments. However, with a direct approach, it generates leads every week. Claude's SSI went from 54 to 65 in 1 week. He calls me a few weeks later, desperate that there is no concrete impact.
